Mrs. Sue Hill

Director & Head Teacher
Sue is a Dean’s list graduate from Longwood College in Virginia with a B.S. in Sociology and a RI Early Childhood Education Certification. Sue taught in the Virginia school system before moving back to R.I. in 2001. Sue was also the head teacher at the Poplar Preschool in Portsmouth for two years. She began at PNS in the Spring of 2010. Sue is a Portsmouth native and a graduate of PNS, class of 1978.

Mrs. Chris McMillian

Teacher Assistant
Chris’s two children are graduates of PNS. She served on the board for three years, acting as registrar for two of those years. She started substituting and eventually joined the staff as a teacher’s assistant in 2004.

Mrs. Caroline Dooley

Teacher Assistant
Caroline graduated with a Bachelor Honors Degree in Education and Geography from Queen’s University, Belfast. Northern Ireland, with her teaching certificate from St. Mary’s Teacher Training College Belfast, N. Ireland in 1990. She taught for 5 years at Holy Family Primary School in Ireland before moving to the U.S. in 1995. Caroline taught at Countryside Children’s Center for one year in the 3year old program. She has been teaching Faith Formation for many years at St. Barnabas’ Church. Caroline’s four children are all graduates of PNS, and she has served on the PNS Board as a committee member, vice chairperson, and chairperson.
